PROCESS
An Equality Committee was set up in 2008 made up of delegates from the company itself and all the trade unions with representation in Mutualia, with its remit being to foster the launch of the various Equal Opportunities Plans. The company is currently applying its 3rd Plan, in which reconciliation and co-responsibility are its strategic focus. These aspects are disseminated throughout the company via the different information resources that have been implemented (intranet, magazine, fora, and courses, for example), and they are assessed annually.
The Equality Committee is the ultimate advocacy body for any matter related to requests and proposals for the reconciliation of the company’s employees. There is currently someone with sole dedication to Equal Opportunities and Reconciliation in the second tier of management, within the process of "People Development".
Mutualia is actively involved in public symposia and fora related to this matter.
