TORREZURI s.l. was founded in 1999 by a team of experts with a proven track record in the professional management of centres dedicated to providing Comprehensive Care for Elderly Persons in a situation of dependency.

Its operations include a nursing home, day centre, medical centre, rehabilitation centre, homecare services, and professional hospital visits, as well as remote care at home. One of its hallmarks is its Innovative Approach, with the management of the centre including both scientific-gerontological and technological advances, as well as innovative processes in people and quality management (ISO, SGE21, XERTATU, and EFQM).

First nursing home in Spain officially endorsed as being Free of restraining devices, with subsequent creation of the respectful care foundation Duinak - Fundación Cuidados Dignos Fundazioa, for promoting care without the use of any physical restraints.
